Anna Hazare Bresked the Fast after a meet with Maha CM
After the meeting nearly six-hours with Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday evening social activist Anna hazare has ended his 7 Day old fast.
Radhe mohan singh, the union agricultural minister had also participated in the discussion inthe meeting of Anna and Maha CM.
When Anna agreed, Chief minister of maharasthra Fadnavis requested to break his 7 day old fast. They did it by accepting a glass of sharbat from chief minister amidst loud cheers by his supporters and the villagers.
Earlier, the chief minister Fadnavis and radhe mohan Singh discussed threadbare the 3-point demands raised by Anna who launched the indefinite hunger strike on 30 January.
Demands through anna was : Lokpal’s implementation at the national level, setting up Lokayuktas in all states and conceding the farmers demands through the M.S. Swaminathan Commission Report.
In wake of the statement, Fadnavis rushed to Anna Hazare ‘s village from Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon to get final talks with him and later announced that his demands have been accepted.
Accepting Anna’s Demand fadnavis sad that the process of appointing lokpal will be initiated very soon. He also declares that the lokpal committee will meet on febraury 13 as per the directives of supreme court in the matter.
As per the Anna’s demand, for the lokayukta in maharashtra, a joint drafting committee has been set up to make a new bill on the issue which will be introduced in the upcoming budget session of the state starting later this month. He also said that adding this would have a representatives of the government as well as for those who are nominated by Anna.
