Dhanghata assembly election result 2017
Sriram Chauhan of the Bharatiya Janata Party won Dhanghata in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election with 79,572 votes (39.73%), defeating Algoo Prasad Chauhan of the Samajwadi Party, who polled 62,663 votes (31.29%). The winning margin was 16,909 votes.
