Ashish Kumar Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party won Bilgram-Mallanwan in the 2017 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election with 83,405 votes (37.61%), defeating Subhash Pal of the Samajwadi Party, who polled 75,380 votes (33.99%). The winning margin was 8,025 votes.
