Hackers use RaGa Twitter handle to blast the Family

Hackers took control of Rahul Gandhi’s Twitter handle and posted critical comments, laced with obscenity , about the Gandhi family , triggering anger among Congressmen and touching off a battle of sorts on the microblogging site on Wednesday evening.The managers of Rahul’s account were stunned when obscene comments started flying from the twitter handle of their boss.

Some of the comments were self-critical while others poked fun at the Congress’ first family , with expletives and abuses thrown in.Congress intimated the Delhi Police’s cyber cell about the hacking and decided to file an FIR.The party lashed out online, pointing fingers at BJP followers for the hacking.They said Rahul had been targeted for repeatedly questioning the government over demonetisation and Nagrota terror attack. However, even as Congress cyber warriors railed against the unethical commandeering of Rahul’s online account, they were unable to regain control of the twitter handle despite intense efforts till late night.AICC spokesman Randeep Surjewala said, “Such unscrupulous, unethical & roguish conduct of venal trolls to hack @officeofRG reflects disturbing insecurities of prevalent fascist culture.“ He said such lowly tactics will never drown the “sane voice of reason“.
