# India Vote Kar (indiavotekar.com)

> India Vote Kar is an independent, non-partisan Indian elections portal. It covers Assembly (Vidhan Sabha) and Lok Sabha elections, constituency-level data for every seat in the states it covers, live election news, profiles of sitting MLAs and MPs, step-by-step voter guides, and election-campaign software and services for candidates. All legislator and constituency data is compiled from publicly available official sources - the Election Commission of India, state legislative assembly websites, PRS Legislative Research and public records - and is provided for general information.

Behind those indexes sit roughly 4,800 pages: 1,100 assembly constituency pages across Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Goa; about 2,600 MLA profiles under /leader/, covering both the 2022-elected assemblies and archived pre-2022 members; and 540 Lok Sabha member pages under /lok-sabha-members/. Election dates for future polls are expected or tentative unless explicitly stated as announced by the Election Commission of India. Constituency pages carry the seat number, district, reservation status and parent Lok Sabha constituency, and where the site holds them the sitting member and the electorate; Maharashtra's 288 seats are published for their geography alone and carry neither, so those pages say so rather than showing a blank or a zero. One seat, Duddhi in Uttar Pradesh, is recorded vacant since 8 January 2026. Campaign cost figures shown by the calculator are indicative planning ranges, not quotes. Legislator data covers public figures in their public capacity only; personal addresses and telephone numbers are deliberately omitted. The voter guides moved from the site root to /voter-resources/ in August 2026 and the old URLs 301-redirect to the new ones.
